TEDx – “Sex, Funds, and Rock N’ Roll” – Dr. Daniel Crosby on Applied Behavioral Finance

I was privileged to get to present at TEDx for a second year in a row and knew that I had to bring my A-game. I have a huge amount of respect for the TED brand and consequently, I get extremely nervous before speaking at TEDx. This year I wanted to speak about something that’s been on my mind, behavioral finance, but do so in a way that made these sometimes esoteric concepts accessible to laypeople. So, I chose a vehicle that we all understand viscerally – love. In my talk, I covered four cognitive types of cognitive errors shared by both people in love and people investing money.
